The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially declared the Class 12 board exam results for the year 2025. Students who appeared for the exams can now gear up to check their scores on the official CBSE websites. To access the results, they will need to enter their roll number, school number, date of birth, and admit card ID.
According to CBSE, the Class 12 results can be checked on the following websites:
Although the DigiLocker platform has mentioned that the Class 10 and 12 results will be released soon, students can now find the official confirmation for Class 12, while the Class 10 results are expected shortly.
Exam Dates and Schedule
The CBSE Class 12 board exams were conducted between February 15 and April 4, 2025, in a single shift from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Similarly, the Class 10 board exams took place from February 15 to March 1, 2025, during the same time slot.
New Process for Post-Result Activities
This year, CBSE has introduced some major changes in its post-result process. Unlike previous years where students first had to apply for verification of marks before getting photocopies of answer sheets, the updated process allows students to request photocopies first.
CBSE explained the change, saying,
“A candidate after obtaining photocopy of evaluated answer book in the first step can decide whether to opt for Verification of marks, which entails posting/totaling of marks or any unevaluated questions, or Re-evaluation whereby the candidate requests for re-evaluation of a question or questions thereof.”
This means that after seeing their evaluated answer sheets, students can make an informed decision about whether they want to apply for verification of marks, re-evaluation, or both. CBSE believes this system will be more transparent and beneficial for students.
What’s Next for Students?
Once students check their results, they can download or print their mark sheets. The documents will also be available in their DigiLocker accounts, which many students have already linked to their CBSE roll numbers. In case of any issues or doubts, students are encouraged to get in touch with their schools or visit the official websites for updates and guidance.
Conclusion
The announcement of the CBSE Class 12 results is a crucial moment for students across the country. With a new and improved post-result system in place, students now have more control and clarity over the next steps. Whether you’re aiming for higher studies, competitive exams, or professional courses, these results mark the beginning of a new journey.
