Operation Sindoor was succesfull, India launched 24 airstrikes across nine terror-linked locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-administered Kashmir (PoK). The mission, called Operation Sindoor, was carried out to avenge the recent terror attack in Pahalgam and to send a clear message that India will not tolerate cross-border terrorism.

According to reliable government sources, the strikes were executed between 1:05 AM and 1:30 AM IST (19:35 to 20:00 GMT) on Tuesday night. The operation lasted just 25 minutes, but its impact was massive. Indian defence officials confirmed that the targets were carefully selected based on credible intelligence inputs, and that all were successfully destroyed.

The targeted locations were identified as active hubs of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) — two terror groups long accused of planning attacks against India. These locations included Muzaffarabad, Kotli, Bahawalpur, Rawalakot, Bhimber, Chakswari, Neelum Valley, Jhelum, and Chakwal.

Over 70 terrorists were killed in the attack, many of them mid- to high-ranking field commanders, trainers, and logistics operatives. In addition, around 60 more were injured. Indian intelligence confirmed that several of the targeted buildings were training centres, planning hubs, and communication bases used by these terror outfits.

High-tech tools like satellite surveillance, drone footage (UAVs), intercepted communications, and human intelligence were used to carry out the strikes with extreme accuracy. Officials said this operation was not just a military reaction, but a strategic warning to terror groups and their state sponsors.

Importantly, no Pakistani military facilities were attacked. India emphasized that it had taken all necessary steps to minimize civilian casualties. However, Pakistan claims that nine civilians were killed and dozens injured — a statement that Indian officials have disputed, saying all buildings targeted were connected to terror activities.

The precision of the strikes — completed in under an hour — showed India’s technological edge and military coordination. Real-time footage from UAVs helped confirm that every missile hit its intended target, causing surgical destruction without broad-scale damage.

Government sources say this operation also aimed to expose the deep nexus between the Pakistan military and terror groups, especially as evidence indicated direct logistical support from Pakistan’s side to these outfits.

Though the international community has called for peace and restraint, India has received diplomatic support for its right to self-defence and counter-terror operations. Many nations have expressed understanding of India’s actions following repeated provocations from across the border.

India’s approach in Operation Sindoor marked a significant shift — not just in terms of range, but also clarity of intent. It showed that while India seeks peace, it will not hesitate to act decisively when provoked.
